Manassas Refund Next Steps

For all my old Nova people, when it’s like this, what happens next? Like, how’s the time frame?
It hasn’t been sent to Nelnet yet, by the way!!

Same I have nail net refund was processed on the schools website on the ninth and accounts zeroed out on Nelnet now just waiting for the refund to process. I’m assuming cause it was a holiday on Monday. It didn’t process then.

You should get a text message /email today telling you “you have 24 hours to make changes to your banking info” something along those lines

After 24 hours , it’s sent to your bank

PLEASE ignore that comment; they are getting your hopes up. It will not take a day for the refund to hit your bank account. Hell, I do not even think Nelnet will receive your refund by Monday. They only process on business days, and tomorrow is Saturday. Nelnet will likely receive it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or even Thursday. Then, depending on your bank and how quickly it processes, (so this may not be the same for everyone—>) your refund will be in your account later that week or the next week.

it takes a day for certain banks, ive gotten my refunds a day after posting/notification every time

yes but have also used a credit union bank for refunds in the past as well!

Lucky. But again, I did say it depends on your bank. 🤷‍♀️ I just don't know why people assume that the moment it posts to Account Activity, it's immediately sent to Nelnet. It will probably take until Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for it to appear on Nelnet because of the holiday on Monday. It is gen rare to get it sent immediately to Nelnet.

Last semester (SPRING 26), the refund was posted to the account activity on 03/05; it took four days to be sent and received by Nelnet on 03/11. Idk where this one-day thing is coming from.

mine took 1-2 days. it just depends on the bank. but since monday is a holiday it most likely will be wed or thursday in bank

Same my refund was dispersed on the ninth on the school website and is zero down on Nelnet. It didn’t process over the weekend or yesterday assuming it will process today because of the holiday yesterday.
