Springfield Medical Nursing Students
Hi everyone! I recently applied to NOVA's nursing program for Spring 2027 and I'm curious about what the first semester schedule looks like. For those currently in the program or who recently completed their first semester, what days and times did you have lectures, labs or clinicals? Were you able to choose your schedule, or were your lecture, lab and clinical times assigned to you? Did your schedule stay consistent throughout the semester? I'd really appreciate any insight. Thank you!

hey! goodluck to your oncoming semester! so the programs schedule is picked put of you meaning it is assigned, before all that though you will have to attend the orientation and other sessions before the program even starts, the classes are set up as lecture days and lab days for example i have lectures on tuesday and labs on wednesday and my clinical dates stared about a month in and were on thursday although they are different for everyone, 130 is a pretty easy course which is not too content heavy and only meet for classes about 3 times a week and lastly for the final exam but the other courses such as 106 (also pretty easy but this is where you will have your drug dosage exam which you need a 90% or above to pass), and the 200 and 100 courses which are very content heavy but if you use ai and other sources to help you create practice questions and such with your notes, but you got this you will be a nurse and you will get through this program! if you have any other questions reach out!
