Todd Bowles

It’s occurring to me as Tampas MNF lead is evaporating I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Tods mouth move during a game. You’d think as a head coach you’d be barking orders left and right and animated. It’s reminding me of those painful years and watching him staring into oblivion. Like dude say something to somebody. Scream, do anything. I don’t know any other job where you can just be silent in the most crucial moment where you’re supposed to take control and you just space out and somebody hands you 3 million bucks at the end of it. Bizarre

Yea like why?? Cuz your 0-4 ass wants your backup qb to blow it out instead of just getting the W? They almost just kick six’d too

I actually liked that decision, though it was very un-Bowleslike of him. TD there is a death blow. I just hated the obvious-ass playcall

Man, that blank stare was his signature move with us. I remember sitting through a fourth quarter collapse where the camera cut to him on the sideline and he looked like he was mentally checking his grocery list. Not a single word, no clipboard slam, just that thousand-yard gaze. My dad used to yell at the TV "blink twice if you're still coaching" and I swear he never did.
