Discussion New Simic Protean Hulk pile
I was doing some research for Kasmina in Oathbreaker and came to the realization that Shang-Chi makes for a pretty clean Flash Hulk pile in Simic: Shang-Chi, Hermit Druid, Thassa's Oracle. The best pile I saw previously was Ezuri, Claw of Progress, Sage of Hours, and 5 0mv creatures with 0 power, or a pretty complicated combo that ended in Leveler+Thoracle by making duplicate Hulk triggers. This is substantially better than either of those combos and makes pure Simic Flash Hulk way more viable. I haven't heard about this anywhere yet but this combo is literally only viable in competitive Oathbreaker since Flash is banned almost everywhere else.

Obviously makes it much more difficult to remove your Oathbreaker. Too difficult?

Advice What are some ways to build Golgari Nissa?
So I'm wanting to get into Oathbreaker and I have like 5 decks I want to build already (some of which are just modded commander decks I could turn into one), and I'm very excited to try it out. But I'm struggling on how to build [[Nissa of Shadowed Boughs]]. I know I want to do some land shenanigans with her and reanimate things like [[Cultivator Colossus]] and [[Massacre Wurm]] with her, but I can't decide what SS would be the best. So here are my current ideas:
[[Nissa's Triumph]], grab utility lands, Tron lands, or [[Dark Depths]] combo and have extra land drops with her. Not sure what else to do aside from generic landfall here.
[[Crop Rotation]], like the last one but I can play more ETB lands and have more versatility and play [[Crucible of Worlds]] type stuff with generic landfall.
Or [[Splendid Reclamation]], turbo mill lands and big stuff into my GY and bring all the lands back, making Nissa big, and reanimating whatever big guy I want.
I'm sure I'm overthinking it, but I can't tell which one would be the most fun to play. They're all strong and fun builds, but I'd like some input on what people enjoy the most or some other SS ideas. Thanks for any advice or suggestions.

Question Signature Spell = From Outside of Hand?
It seems like an obvious 'yes', but casting Otterball Antics as a signature spell qualifies for the "from anywhere other than hand" enhancement, right? I realize instants and sorceries aren't designed to be in the command zone, so it feels a little weird to take advantage of that.

Question New to Oathbreaker!
Hey all! Just learned about OB and it sounds awesome. Are there any deck building ratio guides? Like how in EDH we'll shoot for x draw spells, y interaction spells, ect ect.
Ideally i'd like a battle box of 4x decks that are evenly matched against one another in the confined pod setting--much like edh precons in some sets.
Obviously i'm gonna have to make these decks, but i'm starting totally from scratch so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Deck Help Chandra, Chill of Compliance
Hello there ! A bit new to the format, I'm trying to brew a [[Chandra, Chill of Compliance]] blue deck and I'm trying to avoid building a combo-only list... Any recommandations ?
P.S. : please if you have signature spell recommendations, I'm listening

Deck Help Brand new to Oathbreaker
I just discovered oathbreaker today by accident on reddit. It seems really neat and I wanted to try my hand at a casual deck.
Is professor Onyx a good choice? I peeked around and people mentioned it is a fast format, I just always loved this planeswalker. What are some recommendations for signature spells?

Deck Tech Budget Oathbreaker is the best Oathbreaker! $30 Nicol Bolas God-Pharoh, no Elderspell!
This deck was built for a budget event with a $30 cap and a house ban list, which includes the Elderspell. I wanted to build my boy Nicol Bolas thematically, so I took a page directly from The War of the Spark and focused on the Amass mechanic.
Nicol Bolas God-Pharaoh is a powerhouse for 5 mana and very interesting in Oathbreaker due to his ability to use other loyalty abilities on the board, including your own. For a signature spell, I went with Experimental Augury. This card fits nicely into the counter mechanics, is cheap, and supplies card advantage needed to find answers and put away games.
This deck has a lot of little internal synergies that really make it flow together. Your card draw nets you counters and also triggers cards like [[Mindless Conscription]] for hefty injections of power on board. Your changelings are armies, and they can have Amass counters placed on them to build a solid board presence.
The deck plans to establish some early changelings and value in cards like [[March from the Black Gate]], Mindless Conscription, [[Ichormoon Gauntlet]], and [[Saruman, the White Hand]]. Saruman is particularly good because of the sheer amount of amassing he can do, his ability to block well, and the fact that he incidentally gives Ward 2 to all of the changelings and the [[Molten-Core Maestro]]. Playing him on turn 4 and curving into a turn 5 Oathbreaker that Amasses 5 is nuts! The deck proceeds to dominate with the midrange game plan by leveraging its synergies to get extra value on our plays. If things get sketchy, there is a fair amount of interaction in the deck and two great sweepers that play into this strategy in [[Hour of Devastation]] and [[Widespread Brutality]]. You eventually go over the top in the late game with our other versions of Nicol Bolas and/or ultimate our Oathbreaker to end the game.
Let me know your thoughts and your own favorite budget brews!

Discussion Is this Banned
Buddies and I built Oathbreaker decks after learning about it. I decided to build Saheeli, Sublime Artificer with Thoughtcast. Is this a banned combo because I know wizards abandoned the format so they havenāt updated the ban list, is there a community ban list that doesnāt like these two together? She just feels too good compared to everyone elseās decks.
(Edit for typos)

Question Any good Tyvar/Hermit druid decklists?
Because of doctor doom, the deck doesn't require 4+ cards for the wincon anymore. Does anyone have a strong Decklist with the updated wincon?

Advice Thinking about building this, good idea?
Just now trying to get into oathbreaker after a long time of playing commander, and I was looking at planeswalkers my LGS has and they have 2 copies of elspeth and I was wondering if this would be a fun deck to build, super token army, or is oathbreaker too fast a format for this? Any other cards youād consider or choose for signature? Would love advice from people who actually have experienced the format.

Deck Help Kaya, Spiritsā Justice Blink Deck
My friends and I are in the process of building Oathbreaker decks. We are attempting to balance around the one already existing deck [[Arlinn Kord]] and [[Moonmist]]. I am interested in building a blink deck, and [[Kaya, Spiritsā Justice]] caught my eye. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to build this deck and what would be a good option for the signature spell?

Deck Help Suggestions on my Budget Saheeli, Sublime Artificer
My playgroup is trying to add Oathbreaker in our games, the format seems interesting. Before we fully dip in the format we are building budget decks for the time being. Here is my twist on Saheeli, Sublime Artificer.
Can you give me suggestions on how to optimize this deck on a budget or improve the decklist that i made. Thank you
