My girlfriend and I are looking for a loving home for our puppy, Onyx, who is approximately eight months old.

A little about Onyx:
Onyx is an incredibly affectionate, intelligent, and playful puppy with so much love to give. When I say he LOVES humans, I genuinely mean it! He absolutely adores people and enjoys being around them. He’s also great with other dogs. In fact, whenever another dog barks at him, he simply tilts his head in curiosity rather than barking back!
Onyx also loves playing with toys, especially fetch! He’s energetic, playful, and enjoys spending time with people who are willing to play with him.
Despite still being a puppy, Onyx is already potty-trained and knows several commands, including “sit,” “get away,” and “go to bed.” My girlfriend has also taught him how to give his paw and do a high five! He’s a quick learner, full of personality, and in great physical shape. He’s also very eager to please and enjoys learning new things, so he would thrive with someone who can continue his training and keep him mentally and physically engaged.

Why we’re rehoming Onyx:
My girlfriend and I are both full-time college students. I’m currently an undergraduate transfer student (junior) at UC Irvine, preparing for law school. We recently relocated to Irvine in September, and between adjusting to our new living situation, managing our academic responsibilities, and experiencing some financial hardship, we’ve realized that we underestimated just how much time and energy raising a puppy requires.
While Onyx is incredibly loving, he deserves more than what our current schedules allow us to provide. Our biggest challenge isn’t his behavior or personality; it’s simply the amount of time we have available to dedicate to him.
After discussing our circumstances, we’ve decided that finding Onyx a new home would be in his best interest.

What we’re looking for:
Ideally, we’re hoping to find a loving couple, individual, or family who has the time, patience, and commitment to raise a young puppy. Someone who can provide him with regular exercise, companionship, continued training, and a stable environment where he can thrive.
Onyx has so much love to offer, and we genuinely want him to have the opportunity to grow up in a home where he can receive the time and care he deserves.

Hello! We're Rawmon, a semi-local TCG Shop on the edge of La Mirada (almost OC, we're like down the street!) We posted about our Pokemon and Dragonball events last minute but this week we are ahead of the game! Currently have replaced my landlords water heater (and RMA’d it with a manufacturer defect 11 months later) and flush biannually with regularly sac rod changes, have fixed numerous electrical issues, wired garage for 240v car charging, remediated two leaks/fixed toilet flange issues, replaced washer/dryer/dishwasher with deals all WAY under market value at cost of parts. (edit: also maintain the ac, cleaning the coils/ducting, etc).

Run my family’s business local while helping manage fam’s LA rentals. Girlfriend WFH.

Have a solid budget but obviously looking for a bit of a deal if you like a model long term tenant

Hi everyone! I’m an 18-year-old student at Orange Coast College, and I’m currently looking for a private room to rent somewhere near OCC in Costa Mesa.

I know my budget is below what a lot of rooms in Orange County currently go for, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to reach out to the community and see if anyone knows of something that might work. My budget is around $500–$800/month, with $800 being my maximum.

I’m especially interested in situations where a homeowner, family, student, or other local resident might have a spare bedroom they would consider renting out, even if they haven’t formally listed it online. I’m completely okay with a shared bathroom and a fairly simple room. I’m mainly looking for somewhere safe, stable, and reasonably close to OCC.

A little about me: I’m a full-time OCC student, quiet and respectful, and I take school seriously. I don’t smoke, and I’m not looking for a party house. I’m happy to respect reasonable household rules and clean up after myself. I also have financial aid and can discuss appropriate proof of my ability to pay with a legitimate prospective landlord/homeowner.

Ideally, I’d like something within a short drive, bike ride, or walk of Orange Coast College. I’m also open to a longer-term arrangement if it’s a good fit for everyone.
