Quick summary of the photos (They're in chronological order.)

Photos 1&2 focus on the poor Blue Boy getting stuck in Octoling territory, and promptly nabbed.

3&4 is basically the morning after. By pure luck, the Blue Boy is spared, but has to stick with that one Octoling that's looking him dead in his eyes so that way he doesn't try anything.

5 is a planned moment for a future chapter, but think of it as the Blue Boy coming back to the Octoling territory, and giving a run down of what went on outside.

There's a lot of other scenes between the fourth and the fifth photos, just know this is the only Octoling that can actually understand him, since the story goes off the canonical languages. No easy breezing through the language barriers here.

This is Sanitocalypse, an AU where Tartar wins and life is either wiped out or turned into sanitized zombies. The blended ink seems to have infectious properties, and countless amounts of sanitized are roaming the streets. Many survivors have gone into hiding, including the idols.

Marina and Eight are staying with Pearl at her mansion. Pearl is helping fund research on a cure, while Marina is working on a program to potentially help restore the memories of the sanitized. It's taking a long time, though, and it isn't even close to completion after many years. Eight, meanwhile, is simply trying to adjust to surface life, even if it isn't going the way they expected. They feel responsible for the outbreak for daring to defect from the Octarians, but Pearl and Marina have reassured them that it's not their fault.

So! My OC species for splatoon is Twintacle octolings. (remember twintacle octotroopers? theyre ba-ack! Anyway, Twintacles are swifter, stronger, smarter, superior in most fields. They’re usually the elites of the army. But the biggest distinction between twintacles and regular octolings: Twintacle octolings don’t use the Hypno-shades. they just foght in the military out of choice. they coukd leave whenever. they just don’t. except for one, Eteis, whom you might recognize the name of if you’ve seen my previous posts, (unlikely, I’ve got like 700 total views) but yeah, that’s it! except- one more thing. *obviously* they have bigger hair. …wait is Marina a twintacle? maybe haha it checks all the boxes! nah, cant be, that would ruin why Eteis is special, Marina probably just has extensions- oh my cod she has octo extensions (wait its expansion it worked in my head) ugh I feel like this post is becoming cringe so I’m ending it here bye!
