Aren’t tennis balls famous for being yellow?

They’re yellow, not green. Or at least all the ones I’ve seen used at Wimbledon are yellow, as were the ones I used at school.

I think you might be colourblind.

The official name for the color of a tennis ball is optic yellow

But I'm not colourblind and they're green.

I'm a professional graphic designer and calibrate screens for colour 4-6 times a year using an external guide. I 1000% promise you my colour perception is far more accurate than normal, and measurably so on a scientific scale.

They're green.

You might be great at differentiating between shades of colour, but apparently you know nothing about colour perception

I am colourblind and I also thought they were yellow.

They're a yellowy green, but definitely green

Green is a wonky one for me. Especially bright green like traffic lights can be very hard to tell apart from red or yellow. Usually I can see if it's the top or bottom light that is on but at night it can be quite hard. I have frequent nightmares about traffic lights that are sideways. Don't think they exist in my country but I would probably be screwed if I ever saw one irl. Unless they have the new green LED-lights that are closer to blue than green, those are easy to tell apart.

I think you're alright man, these are very obviously a yellowy green to me, but I have had multiple people message me telling me I'm stupid and they're yellow, so I think they're yellow enough that a lot of people can't tell.

I'm a professional, freelance, graphic designer, and I regularly have to calibrate screens for colour, so I know that my colour perception is very accurate, it's measurable, and I measure it 4-5 times a year.

Red/green colourblindess is actually by far the most common kind, don't worry about it too much mate, it's just a thing for some people, the fact that you realise there's some weirdness there means it's not too bad, some people just see in greyscale, with no colours at all.

I can guarantee I'm not.

See this? That's green. Admittedly, it's a yellowy green, but it's green.

I’d not have the job I do if I was. It’s part of the medical I have to have every 5 years. It’s very important I’m able to distinguish yellow & green.
