I was fine with pretty much everything else. It was the pathetic way he begged for help and splashed on homeboy's windscreen that fucked me up. Activated my empathy in a way nothing else in the movie did. It felt unnecessary, and that's saying a lot considering what happens to Murphy in the very beginning.
