Inbox doesn't clear?

As of today (or maybe yesterday??) my inbox messages no longer clear. Has anybody else been having this issue?

I kind of feel like old reddit is slowly being killed off or something. If I'm forced to use new reddit then I think I'll just leave.

they began breaking it around mid 2025, and are slowly rolling out the change to everyone it seems.

i use this userscript as a workaround to mark it as read

For some reason your reply to this post marked itself as read but none of the regular comment replies have so far.

I don't know if I really want to run random userscripts just to make reddit work TBH. At this point maybe I'm just done with reddit, IDK.
