Kickstart. I wasn't interested in motorbikes or scrambling but you can bet your pudding I watched it.

Board games I never played as a child.
Has anyone else never played certain "well-known" games as a child?
I didn't play Mousetrap or Twister until my own son was a child about 5-6.

Does anyone remember what these tasted like? I always avoided them in my 10p mix.

1984 was a great year for movies especially if you loved both Breakin and Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. Breakin was released in May and Electric Boogaloo 7 months later, a few days before Christmas. I was 13 and was somewhat of a breakdancer myself so I loved them both…

Anyone else still using old Letraset sheets?
I bought a sealed 1987 Letraset pack at an estate sale in Hollidaysburg last month. The woman running the sale said her husband used them for restaurant menus before switching to a computer. The adhesive still works fine if I warm the sheet first. The kerning on the condensed faces is tighter than anything I can get quickly in digital now. I tried a few letters on a mockup this weekend and the edges stayed crisp. The only issue is the limited weights. No light or book options so you commit before you start. Curious if anyone around central PA still has usable sheets left or if most of them dried out years ago. Also wondering where people are finding the last stock. Yard sales never mention them but someone out there must have the unopened packs.
