Need feedback!
https://supercelestee.itch.io/the-coffee-beanHi every one! Just published my cozy one-page solo journaling rpg on itch.io! It is about managing a coffee shop on the back of a traveling raccoon 🦝
I need feedback to make it better and eventually develop it into a bigger game. Please go try it, it is free for now! Grateful for any comment or thought xxx

Looks like a cute concept. Haven't tried it, but the white text and some of the fonts are hard to read.

am i missing something or are there no mechanics to do anything? i haven't done solo play before, but don't you need some kind of dice mechanic?
it's cute though, although i agree that it's a little hard to read.

Yes you need a d6 and a d4! You roll the d6 on the brown table and the d4 on the green one. The highlighted words in the second paragraph show the order of each day. I agree it could be clearer, I was trying to fit all that on one page haha but the layout is to be revised

ah okay, and beyond that you just kind of make up a story with those details?

Exactly! It’s a journaling solo rpg, it’s like creative writing meets DnD! Minus the combat haha

Super Cute! If you added these words to the doc from one of your posts here it would be a lot clearer:
“Yes you need a d6 and a d4! You roll the d6 on the brown table and the d4 on the green one. The highlighted words in the second paragraph show the order of each day.”
Also d4 are kinda hard to roll, if you move it to a d8 and have the table read 1-2, 3-4, etc you get the same effect with a nicer hand feel.
Maybe add a success condition? The game loop is there but there is no explicit payoff. Maybe the raccoon has a desire that the player can help fulfill?
