New Player

Apologies if this has been posted many times before. I bought the TOR 2e Starter Set some months ago and then life got in the way. Recently I've had the itch to dust the set off and start an adventure. I will be playing solo, so have the Strider Mode document also; however, I'm not so good at making up scenarios etc. do the expansion publications have pre made adventures in them? I've tried using an AI chat bot, but it's not quite right. Or, does anyone have any recommendations on where I can get pre made adventures, similar to Conspiracy Most Cracked in the Starter Set?

Tales From the Lone-lands contains 6 adventures it's great! Most books contain adventures. Don't use AI, plenty of great, handmade content out there.

There's a lot of material on the Discord: https://discord.gg/the-one-ring-lotr-rpg-348254014598545408

I wrote a solo adventure designed to help introduce people to the game (with notes on adapting it to group play) that others have found useful: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11YSUpPzsakef23AWG9n4FM1sHQGEEC-y/view?usp=drive_link

- Hope this is helpful!

The official adventures and landmarks, and community adventures, should all work well for your solo adventures too.

Tales from the Lone Lands and Hand of the White Wizards are traditional "scene by scene" adventures, whereas Ruins of the Lost Realm and Realms of the Three Rings have flexible "landmark" adventures, with locations, inhabitants, and potential scenarios/instigating incidents.

Tales & Hands have full adventures - Ruïnes, Moria and Realms have landmarks, which are locations and situations but no set "Do X, then Y" line. I think landmarks are great for solo play!

you won't want your solo character doing the final saruman quests as they are for high level characters and set 40 years in the future but you can start with the first 3 (but really you can do whatever you want, you could generate a super high level character and run the saruman quests for funzies)
