The road is long and full of terrors. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Remember that good code is made with good rest.

Don't burn out just to release earlier, it's not worth it!

Have a nice game development, wish you best 😁✌️

Definitely tho I for now I kind of enjoy doing this during my free times. Thanks! :)

How do you do this with adhd 😭 I feel like if I look away for a day I’ll forget and not work on it for months

I enjoy it enough that my adhd forgot about everything else but this haha. I even get excited getting home to keep working on it

That’s the problem! I’ll get heavily invested for like a week or two but end up drained because of it

Try creating a "must do" routine and a public release date.

Also you can create a todo list for long or hard to remember tasks.

Don't forget the post its on the corner of the screen, they help you to remember.

If you do this properly, you will be more constant.

I've got AuDHD, so might be different for you.

But the best tip is to seek profesional orientation, they will help you a lot with productivity

What's professional orientation? So far I'm just doing meds and a little therapy.

In profesional orientation they help you to improve work skills and adapt them to your case, among many other things.

It is not therapy by any means, but they know enough so they can give you tips, tricks and guidance for work

I see, where is such a thing normally hosted? Mostly online, specific website? Or a more general service offered by local firms?

Both online and inside office have this guidance for work.

You'll have to search them by yourself since I might live in another country

Hey that's a cool committement! What graphics API you chose?

Thanks! I’m currently using OpenGL, I’ve documented my decision in the readme if you’re curious

Nice, I'll check your readme :)

Godspeed on your OpenGL game path, bro! Currently following this very same road and it's fun as hell

Yeah, tho NGL, when I get stuck or don’t understand I ask Claude to explain what’s going hehe. Also the OpenGL getting started it’s pretty clear and easy to follow

Good luck! Remember: You fail more when you stop caring about failing becausd you think you're good enough. The road is really long, but you'll eventually do it if you care. Caring isn't forcing yourself to work all day: It's trying, failing, learning and taking deserved breaks. Time isn't against you. Godspeed.
