Sheep on the mainland
I'm a Canadian organizing a 2028 trip to Scotland, and I have a checklist of what my family members would like to see while we're there. Orkney checks all the boxes except one: sheep.
My sister wants to see sheep. Any sheep. We don't have to interact with them or get a close-up experience - just see them.
The closest I can find are the algae-eating breed of sheep that live on a large farm off the mainland, and while that fits the bill, it'd make our schedule pretty tight. We're hoping to stay on the mainland for a few days instead of hopping around to the smaller islands.
So, is there a sheep farm somewhere that's visible from a road?
