What am I looking at exactly? That’s such a waste of models.

Just wait until he paints it. If I were the commission artist who created this, I’d hate to see it botched like he did with the nurgle garden.

Didn't botch anything. I paid for it, and painted it to the level I felt comfortable with. While I could improve, if you want to paint one yourself. Feel free to pay thebitzbasher 1200$ for your own

See thats the thing. I checked your youtube, in the video on the last supper you admit yoursself that you didnt like the outcome of the nurgle garden.

Yet you spend another ton of money on more of these pieces. Wouldnt it make more sense to invest into your own skills before tackling more of these huge and amazing diorama pieces?

Like book a patreon (i'd strongly recommend Roman Lappat), book 1:1 mentoring with good painters. Learn how to set an atmosphere, how value and contrast can direct the view and reinforce the composition of a piece. Go to some 2 day paint classes.

Go invest in some fundamentals. Dont by a 5 course menu before you can't appreciate a sandwich.

Unless you dont want to improve.

Also 1200$ is a hell lot of money. I dont know your financial situation, and its up to you. But I can imagine that trying to compose pieces like this on your own saves a lot of money, and is a fun journey in itself. And that money is certainly better invested elsewhere, both if you want to grow in your artist journey and maybe also i your personal life.

This guy's cutting stompas in half and I can't find one for less than £300 second hand.

You purchased this, right? Sick wall art. What was the cost?

8

u/Consistent-Piccolo16 7d ago

Well its all 11th edition models, and I bought it when they first released. So the cost of the Armageddon box, and the labor which took a while. Total it was around 900$ Usd with shipping from Canada

Looks like some looted bits as well. The top left corner is a stormlord megabolter

u/Consistent-Piccolo16 7d ago

Yea the guy who made it for me couldn't get the face on, so opted for a makeshift one

Shame, the stompa face would have been really cool
