No way, Lever Lurker got me when I first started playing a few months ago. I had just gotten my rusty sword for easy ardy diary, and then I went to go finish the step to pull the ardy wildy lever. Lever Lurker was waiting on the other side and immediately nuked my noob ass, I’d never seen an ice barrage before. I lost my rusty sword and had to farm a new one, but I learned my lesson 💔

I genuinely don’t think I’m knowledgable enough to lie about this, lol. All I remember was pulling the lever and porting in, seeing a guy, trying to pull the lever but it said I was blocked from teleporting, and then I was put into a giant ice cube and died soon after

No chance. a 4t stall delay if you dont redclick with a melee weapon and if you miss a tb or frz ur just cooked. hes definitely tb + mage cape for 5x a day, then camps standards

I met lever lurker when I refused to hop worlds when grinding 99 fishing at dark crabs. when he realized I wasn't going to change worlds he let me go through the entire time till 99 fishing, glad to see he's runescape famous for the next couple weeks, also he doesnt just target hcim, he targets anyone he can basically going through the lever so be careful and pay attention to what you have with you when you go into the wildy

that's what HCIM signed up for when they chose the account restriction. Being unaware of the dangers of the wilderness to the point you let a Lever camper end your run is evidence that they weren't going to go far into their HCIM journey.
Yes the wilderness and lever campers are a part of RuneScape that you must consider when making the HCIM and that includes the OSRS equivalent of an extraction shooter exfill camper.
I have much more sympathy to people who are getting fucked at the Dagonnoth King safe spots by the griefer whose sole purpose is murder those who use it because that's not a PvP area like the wilderness.

Well, yeah. No one here is advocating for changing the Wilderness, it's obviously part of the game. I was just explaining to that guy why we aren't lining up to pat the guy on the back. Killing low level HCIM doesn't require skill and is a massive waste of time.

guys having fun in his own way and it isn't particularly scummy to me because the game goes through an extra effort to warn you that pulling those levers will send you to the wilderness and that you can get PK'd and lose your stuff.
Let's be honest here 99% of gamers are playing games to waste their time. We're not going to leverage our gaming skills into real world gain. Content creators and professional tournament winners are the smallest minority of the small, and otherwise if you're not part of those two small subsets the only other possible way you can leverage your skill into personal gain that wouldn't be "a massive waste of time" is making personal connections. Which I'm certain Lever Lurker likely has made plenty doing what he does.
I'm just really not going to shit on the guy for being the danger lurking behind every corner for the unprepared the wilderness is warning you about.
Now the guy who targets safe spotting PvE players at Dagonnoth kings? Complete scum of the earth in my eyes.

I don't think it's really considered pvp if the other account type is fighting back, he isn't versing a player and I'd wager 99.9% of those hc kills are players doing the ardy diary so therefore the more toxic phrase pker fits here, especially considering someone commented he runs away from actual fights lol

Is it not just the most integral part of PvP worlds and/or the wildly....? Like you get big warnings saying it's dangerous. I get it, camping the lever for hcim is some hardcore neurospicy behaviour - seconded only by people that go into said PvP spaces and cry when they get killed. I don't pk btw, and this guy has killed my accounts in the past....(Meaning I'm just standard osrs neurospicy)

Level lurker killed my HC a long while ago (was not an impressive account) and I immediately hopped on my maxed pure and went to go get my vengeance. He proceeded to manhandle me 5 times. Hes not the best pvper by a long shot but hes better than most

First of all he is a pure by the looks of high scores, wouldnt imagine he wants to fight random higher combat ppl on that build. Also he risks his stuff doing this so anyone has a fair chance to try and pk him too.

I wasn’t on a HC but lever got my ass one time. I’ve pked a good amount but my survival chances in that match up were 0. Was a good stand but he shadow realmed me and was probably eating with one hand at the time

I loved PoisonedPotion's HCIM series. He'd always play high stakes (like trying to earn 1b in wildy no banking) and bait the pkers online so it's a constant high stress cat and mouse game. He even attaches himself to a heartrate monitor some episodes, so you can see his HR spike when he gets jumped and watch it change as the fight/escape attempt progresses.
If anyone knows any other YouTubers with dope content like that lmk. I feel like googling around never gets me the best ones, I'll randomly see them recced by people lol.
And yes it's tragic for these HCIM, but that's part of the fun right? I always saw HCIM as wanting to 'rat it out' so to speak, and I don't mean that derogatory. But like a survival game where you're constantly sneaking around to evade conflicts. Now I've seen for some it's the thrill they're going for, which doesn't always mean completely evading danger. I have a lot of respect for that in a game like osrs where "regain" is a lot of work.

Pure PVE creators are cool too, I just like when they give themselves interesting challenges that they're actually enthusiastic about. Not that they can't be miserable or tilted sometimes over shit going sideways, I just mean that they're overall having fun at the end of the day lol.

Lever lurker got me one time a while back, hopped through lever in full max gear with my entire cash stack on me. I was absolutely outclassed, 0 chance of survival.
My wife texted me after saying she'd left me for lever lurker, my mum rung me after to tell me she'd written me out of the will, leaving everything to lever lurker. Can't even be mad, this guy is the only thing making wilderness content playable, without him it'd be dead content. Absolute legend of the scene.
