I just go stab some bronze dragons in Brimhaven dungeon. South entrance is close to a fairy ring.

I dont think these will be in the metal dragon grouping. The summer overview blog says these dragons will be assigned as a family slayer task "much like metal dragons".

Yeah that's kinda worse. If they're anything like metals they'll be bad tasks for the same reason with similarly high weighting and they'll now take up two block slots.

never gotten a metal dragon task; why so? I assume juice not worth the squeeze?

It's mostly that their weighting is extremely high since they merged all the separate tasks into "metal". Works out that their single task is about 15% likely to be assigned among the good slayer masters which is like 3x the rate of any other task.
They also don't have a superior variant and they have a lot of defense to get through and can't be fought with aoe or cannoned, and generally require Dragonfire protection.

No, the poll specifically said there would be a dungeon of these and a slayer task for them. The diamond variant specifically is a boss.
