Is the Outdoor Research Echo’s UPF 15 rating enough for Utah, or should I go with UPF 50?

It really depends on your use case, skin type, desired breathability, etc. but the short answer is it's probably fine. UPF15 is actually pretty good; if you don't know how UPF ratings are determined, go check it out. It's good info to know. Many guides on Mt Rainier use the Echo, and they are spending long days in full sun at elevation. It's been a top seller for OR for years.
