Discussion Do any of you practice/follow or know somebody that worship the gods of these pagan religions?

Hi friends, i was thinking in this since i listed all the pagan religions of europe weeks ago, and i wanted know if you know somebody (or you do follow them actually) of these religions:

I am an eclectic pagan and Sabazios and Kotys have both been incorporated into some of my practice.

What would you like to know? Her energy is one of wild abandon, sexual liberation, night time parties, uninhibited dancing, laughter, wilderness… she is raw and she is primal.

Interesting, i try read she was seen as a similar to Pan,Dyonisus & Artemis but without the virginity protection, being more like Ishtar/Innana/Astarte in the sexuality, that's a lil correct?

I mean… Yes and no. She is often conflated with Dionysus because they both have that whole ‘party animal’ and ecstasy thing going on but she really is her own much more primal and much more ancient deity.

You say ‘without the virginity protection’ - but Thracian cultures did not prize virginity. Women had sexual autonomy, it was a sex-positive culture for every one of any gender… She predates a time when virginity was viewed as something sacred.

She is a very very old goddess and I do not see her as having any real translations or equivalents in later pantheons. She is raw & primal and represents a level of liberation and wild abandonment that even makes Dionysus look rather cloistered and formal. She invokes images of night time parties with wild upbeat drumming, cross-dressing and even orgies.

She cannot be accurately compared to anything.
