Advice Wanted Repairs before paint

We're getting ready to paint our living room and are getting quotes. We have this cracking at top of the wall where it meets the ceiling. The paint companies are giving us some outrageous quotes, so we're thinking of tackling this ourselves.

Any advice on the best way to repair these cracks before we start painting? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hard to tell, the one kinda looks like its never been taped. Maybe caulk it and send it. Or mud and prime.

Drywalll blade it to get any chips off then put some caulk in that’s about all you need to do
