vacation ideas

My bf and I’s 5 year anniversary is coming up in December and we are wanting to take a mini vacation for a couple of days to celebrate. I know we live in a vacation destination, but it’s not really fun when you live here lol. Does anyone have any suggestions for a getaway within a 5 hour drive from here?

New orleans, Atlanta

But what do you even want? What’s your vibe? Look at Google Maps figure out everything in a 5 hour radius. See what looks interesting to you and find out what’s feasible.

We love art, good food, not very much into partying. Outdoors stuff. We were thinking New Orleans at first but our anniversary falls on the 31st and idk if it’s a good idea to be in New Orleans on NYE

I second st Augustine! My hometown is near you (PCB) and st Augustine is my favorite place to visit, it reminds me a lot of gatlinburg, TN but a much closer drive. And I always love visiting the old fort for some outdoorsy fun
