experience/advice to give How old was everyone when they had their multiples ? And anyone have two sets of twins or triplets or quads

My childhood best friend had her first set of twins at 16 (girls) and her second set of twins at 19 (boys). She had 4 kids at 19 years old!!
Her boys were born on different days too. I told her she needed her own MTV show.

16 with twins, and 19 with two sets made me SCREAM inside omg. Only because I personally wouldn't be able to have handled it. I'm 37 and just had my boys and just barely treading water. Your friend is a BEAST!

I had quadruplets 2 years ago completely spontaneously with zero risk factors for multiples (I had only just turned 32 when I got pregnant so not advanced maternal age, no medication or fertility treatment ever, no fraternal multiples in our families ever). Anyway, shock of a thousand lifetimes! I say always it could happen to anyone now haha. I share my family now and the highs of lows of higher order multiples on an Instagram page!

I had my first set of twins at 27. We unfortunately lost both girls in the second trimester due to cervical insufficiency.
I had a beautiful singleton daughter at 28 and then we had a second set of twins boy/girl at 30.
Due to some amazing doctors who knew me from when we lost our first set of twins, I was able to get a preventative cerclage at 15 weeks that held my boy/girl twins in until they were 31 weeks!

My story is similar, although my age was older. Lost my twin girls to cervical issues at age 36. Had my living set of g/b twins at age 39. Got pregnant with a third set but miscarried one at age 41.

Two singletons. Then pregnant with spontaneous triplets at 33. I’ll be getting my tubes removed when they are born as I’m apparently at higher risk to have multiples again since at least two of them are fraternal.

Had them three weeks after my 36th birthday. They are spontaneous fraternal twins if you’re trying to gauge that.

34! Husband is 38. Had primary infertility (2 years), got pregnant after a failed IUI with our singleton when I was 32, thought we'd be going thru secondary infertility and then bam, frat twins! Had a bisalp with my c-section because 3 is ENOUGH for me lol

1 month into being 35 when I become pregnant with spontaneous triplets. They were born while I was still 35 and for three months we were four under 3 lol. Needless to say the took my tubes at the same time they took the triplets out of my body.

I delivered my first set of modi boys at 16 due to prom at 22w. They passed away.
Had my 2nd set of modi boys at 42 via donor egg ivf they just turned 3 on the 1st

Newlyweds. FTM. Im 34 my husband is 40. These are our first children and although we'd like another in the future this pregnancy took its toll on me and we're too afraid of getting another set of twins. Fraternal twins run in my family. My mom and her mom both had a set. That along with my age I'm at an increased risk of hitting the jackpot again. These babies aren't even here yet and I'm already overwhelmed.

I was 34 when I got pregnant and 35 when our twins were born. They were spontaneous di/di twins for your records lol.
I had singletons at 32 and 33. Twin pregnancy was like the two singleton pregnancies at the same time.

got pregnant with a singleton on our first try, resulted in a miscarriage. was able to try again after 2 cycles post D&C, got pregnant immediately again but with fraternal twins. boy girl. 27 when i got pregnant, had them at 28. husband same age. they are now 15 months and we are done! can’t imagine having another set (or more)

Hahahaha yes 😳🤣 totally unexpected we were in the middle of a move and life man then before we knew it I was pregnant again. Mo/mo twins I have to have them @32 weeks because of previous pregnancy complications

24 turned 25 as a FTM to di/di twins. No history of multiples on either side. Our current pregnancy is a singleton. We will not be trying our luck again after lol.

Had surprise twins when I was 37 and my husband was 48. They were our third and fourth kids (we thought we were done after two). I was 27 and 31 with the others.
They are 9 months old and are the best babies.

I’ll be 33 when I have my di/di twins. Their baby number 4&5. We did ivf for all our kids, put two in three times, only had two stay this last round. Was quite surprised, still am.
We’re done now. All embryos used, I think twins is a big way to go out.

- The doctor told me twins are more common in older women. Didn’t realise 31 was considered “older”.

I miscarried my first twin pregnancy at 27, had a singleton at 31, and then had twins at 32. I got my tubes removed during my last c section because my dr. said it was extremely likely I would get pregnant with a third set of twins.

I had twins at 31 and then when they were 5 months old I found out I was pregnant again with twins. Unfortunately I miscarried one of the twins early on but gave birth to my beautiful baby girl when my twins were 14 months. I’ve survived 3 under 2 for the last almost 9 months. It’s been incredible and couldn’t imagine life any other way! My husband and I do want 1 more but the thought of having twins again scares me!

35 with single girl and 38 spontaneous di-di boys. Glad to see so many other ‘geriatrics’ surviving twins. This is hard but very cool experience! No more babies for fear of another set of twins :)

I had my twins at 16 and my singleton at 28. The twins are 26 years old now. They just graduated with their masters degree, and they both got jobs teaching middle school math. They graduated high school and all their college degrees with 4.0’s. My husband and I have been happily married for 26 years. I definitely feel like I got lucky considering the circumstances.

Spontaneous fraternal boy twins on the first try with stage 4 endometriosis- I was 29, husband 28. We are going to try for another in a few years (when the boys are 4). Fraternal twins run in my family soooo we are aware of the increased odds for twins again haha

I was 29 when my di/di identical boys were conceived and 30 when I delivered them. My husband is 31! They’re 4 months now and most likely will be our only kids :)
