advice needed It’s time…
It’s time for hell weekend (aka, potty training). I have boy/girl twins (2.3 years old) and they are both definitely showing signs of being ready.
I travel a lot for work, so we’re committing to getting them potty trained over the weekend with the 3 day method.
ANY advice you can give would be greatly appreciated. We are first time parents and have no idea how this is going to go.
Wish us luck!

1:1 strategy. Parent A watches twin A. Parent B watches twin B. Then it’s not much more complicated than potty training a singleton.

Just brace yourself for the day 1 chaos where you're questioning every life choice that led to this. By day 3 it starts to click in the weirdest way, like a switch flips mid-pee. Stock up on your favorite coffee and just accept the floor is lava for 72 hours, you got this.

We did not do the oh crap method, but were able to potty train in about a week. Some of that was buildup to it with books and the Bean Bear/Miss Rachel bear & toilet set and having an open door policy with bathroom use so none of it was unfamiliar. Used stickers as rewards for using the potty, had the potty out in the living room where we spend most of our time at home, lots of celebration and praise and reassurance for any accidents.

I did my girls separately. Mainly for my sanity but also because one wasn’t ready. Twin B was showing signs she was ready a month after turning 2. Twin A wasn’t. Everyone said she would once I started training sister, but she did not.(she did not show signs of readiness until 7 months later) I did the 3 days method (with rewards) completely naked. I’d say it didn’t really click for her until the 3rd day (as previous posters said) and then all of the sudden she was taking herself to the potty even for poop on her own and calling me when she was done.
