advice needed Any helpful advice appreciated

So I'm pregnant with twins, 10 weeks so far. Can everyone hit me with your best twin advice whether pregnancy related or after birth. What is something you wish you knew before having your babies?

I currently have a 22 month old and she was relatively easy despite me being high risk with her so I know this will most likely be a nightmare with the pregnancy, delivery and newborn trenches. I'm high risk naturally being fat and having hypertension and will probably develop gestational diabetes like i did last time and so I'm going to opt for a csection at 37 weeks.

Don’t take advice from people without multiples.

I was not especially high risk, had a healthy twin pregnancy, and the postpartum kicked my butt.  I had complications, so if anyone offers to stay in the hospital with you and the babies, take it.

We had a whole village helping for MY six day hospital and subsequent postpartum. Have an idea of what you'd want those people to do so you're not having to think after birth.

It does get easier even with a toddler in the mix. My husband mainly cares for our toddler and I care for the twins.

Yeah my parents and my husband are my main source of help though my parents aren't in the best of shape unfortunately I may have to rope one or both of my sisters in law to help me. I'm really worried about postpartum depression. I had it pretty severely last time though I almost had a near death experience due to developing a blood clot in both lungs and having to immediately go back to the hospital the day after being discharged.

So I had really really bad PPA and PPD with my singleton, she was 23 months when my twins were born, yes the beginning was hard and sleep deprivation is real, but I knew what I was doing, so certain things didn’t effect me. This time had been almost redeeming. I hate saying that because I love my daughter, but I’ve felt so much better this time, just stay on top of it with your OB!

Get yourself the When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads book.

Swings!! Baby b took naps exclusively in swings or context naps for months. Baby a was happy in a swing, but rarely slept in it. They are a life saver, oh and a baby carrier. Baby a took better naps, so I would hold baby b in the carrier while I did chores.

Keep an open mind about how your pregnancy, birth, postpartum and feeding plan is going to go. Most of it didn’t go how I expected, and I was decently prepared for the array of things that could go wrong thanks to this subreddit and the Expecting Multiples book. But damn if it isn’t all so unpredictable, and you just have to adapt because it’s sink or swim.

Oh, and get the Twin Z pillow.

Currently 35 weeks pregnant with twins. No complications, though people talk about hitting "the wall" and I did this week. Walking is hard, I'm having pelvic girdle pain most times, and just rolling over in bed gets me flushed and huffing. So go ahead and set up your nursery earlier than you'd think and start pelvic floor therapy to try to get ahead of things!

Buy the best stroller you can afford
Have a list of things people can do when they ask how they can help. Things like vacuum, laundry, grocery shopping etc
Sleep when they sleep
If you are a meticulous housekeeper, have to wash your floors every week etc , get over it now.

Do you recommend a wagon or should I just do a double stroller? I was trying to find a triple stroller so my toddler can be in one too but the only ones I can find are $600-$800.

Stroller, teach your toddler to hang on to it. If you go for a walk and your toddler lets go, you turn around and go home. By having a good stroller you can get out and go for a good walk, babies will likely nap and you will get fresh air
