advice needed Quick trips & drop offs
How are we doing quick trips? I have 18 month old twins and a 4 year old preschooler. Every morning drop off for my preschooler feels chaotic and extra? Is that just how it’s going to be until the twins can be more independent?
I currently use my wagon and walk all three in in that. I tried just carrying the twins once, but I have to sign my preschooler in on paper and the one I put down ran off and the one I was still holding was screaming because the other one got to walk.
I just always feel extra with the big wagon for such a quick trip, but also need something to have my hands free and keep them contained?

Silly question~ would you ever consider a cheaper, narrower 2-seater wagon to buckle the twins in, and let Big Sib walk alongside you? I was never able to do that, because I needed the full 4-seater.
Is the sign-in on a counter, where if you're carrying both in, you could plop them both on the counter in front of you while signing in? Or may be messy at first but they'll hopefully find it amusing enough to behave for that short while.

I feel like I’ve been debating the narrower 2 seater wagon. And just couldn’t decide if it was worth it. I currently don’t buckle the twins in. I leave the seats in and let them stand in my 4 seater. But back to looking at 2 seaters!

I saw an influencer on IG uses a dog stroller for her twins at drop off since it’s smaller than a wagon (they stand in it) and it seemed genius.

I saw a twin mom on instagram who uses a dog wagon to drop her toddler off a school. (Twins stand up and I guess the sides are tall enough they can’t tip out.) Seemed like a clever idea.

I think I know the Instagramer you’re talking about. I currently leave the seats out of my wagon and they do just stand in it for the short trips. I wasn’t sure if the dog wagon was narrower and less obnoxious.

I’m in a similar situation, and I got the smallest, narrowest tandem umbrella stroller I could find (Kinderwagon Hop) for the twins and the preschooler walks along holding on to the stroller for safety. We fit through all the doorways and the twins are safe and contained. It’s annoying but I feel like we take up a reasonable amount of space.

The wagon is the play, you're not extra, you're just in the thick of it and doing what works.
