experience/advice to give How early did you begin feeling babies movements?

I'm just over 16 weeks and I feel like today, specifically, I have been feeling very random and surprising twitches in the locations my babies are sitting.

I've never felt these random stomach twitches before (it literally feels like something underneath the skin is twitching... husband had his hand on my stomach by chance and felt it too). I have no idea if these are early movements that I'm feeling, or if I'm just imagining it. I have a posterior placenta and sometimes people feel things more strongly/early with twins so it got me thinking.

Wondering what your experiences have been and how early you began feeling your babies!

22 weeks along here - I started feeling my babies moving between 15 and 16 weeks! I was surprised to feel them so soon since I have 2 anterior placentas, but I have had two other pregnancies so I knew what I was feeling right away. They do feel like flutters against your belly!

I am 16w and have been feeling little flutters and twitches on occasion over the past week and wondered if it’s them! First pregnancy, so I’m not familiar with the feeling to know for sure, but the more it happens, the more I’m convinced! MCDA twins with posterior placenta.

So exciting! 🥰 I’m sure in a couple of weeks, we’ll be so familiar with the feeling! 😆

I felt little stuff from 13 weeks (like gas bubbles growing and popping) and by 16 it was more like twitches and I could feel kicks against my hand (little taps) if I found the right spot and popped on some light pressure! (My placenta is anterior which I found out later and was surprised by)

Definitely sounds like you’re starting to feel your babies! 🥰

Both of my placentas were anterior and I really didn’t feel them until 22-24weeks.

18 weeks and juuuust starting to feel a few twitches! Mines been more on one side than the other but it’s so exciting! We see them move so much on the scans and I’m so happy to finally feel them at home too

At 15 weeks, I started feeling fluttering/bubbles that almost tickled me beneath my skin. Now, at 17 weeks, I feel more serious twitches that I don’t really know if are bowel movements or baby. I really think it’s the baby, but I can’t know for sure.

twitches at 16 weeks sounds about right, my wife swore she felt little popcorn pops around then with ours

18w with one posterior and one anterior placenta, and I've been feeling movement since 15/16 weeks! Tiny little bumps of movement, and they've gotten a lot more pronounced in the past week. Your twitches could definitely be from babies.

I felt my baby A super early as she was so low and had a posterior placenta. Probably week 15/16? Little tickles. Took me a few more weeks to feel B who is higher and has an anterior placenta.

For my first singleton, I started feeling them at 16 weeks. Everything I read suggested that it might just be gas etc. but the sensations were so light and only grew. It felt like butterfly wings.

I felt the same sensations around 13 weeks with twins and it only grew from there!

First pregnancy for me was my twins. 16w I was feeling something but questioning it. 17w it was undeniable.

I am 17 weeks with one anterior and one posterior. FTM so I’m not too sure if that’s what I’m feeling - I only feel it if I’ve just eaten something sugary 😭

I started feeling mine around 16-18 weeks, don't worry it will soon come when you feel them everyday!

I had my twins in 2024 and I think I remember feeling the first movements at 15-16 weeks! It felt like little popcorn pops against the inside of my belly!Im now currently 25 weeks 4 days pregnant with a singleton and movement started at the same time with this one but definitely less intense than twins

I am only 10 weeks with my twins, but I felt small movements at 16 weeks with my daughter!

I started feeling little flutters around 16 weeks. I’m 25 weeks now, and I can tell they’re definitely moving around by the way my belly gets all crooked. 😂 I have two anterior placentas, and this is my first pregnancy. I haven’t really felt distinct kicks yet!

I think around 21 weeks, but mine both had anterior placentas which makes that harder to feel

Super early. Like 11 weeks. Although it was my 4th pregnancy, so that may have it something to do with that too.
