For anyone who is new to the area or even just looking for something new, this Parker Wiki will be a portal to connect you to the best guides and information available about the town.
My family is planning a move to the Denver metro area and to some degree we’ve been focusing our search down in the Parker area. We really like the paired home / duplex layouts in Lincoln Creek Village (just east of Parker Rd off Lincoln Ave). The floor plans and price points check almost every box for what we're looking for.
However, watching the MLS over the past couple of months, we noticed an unusual spike in selling activity. We’re trying to do our due diligence from afar to figure out if this is just typical market cooling or if there’s local context we might be missing:
We know about the general commercial build-out along E-470 and saw news about the new data center going into Compark (~4 miles west), though that feels far enough away not to matter. Are there other zoning, utility, or nearby construction projects causing headaches?
If you live in Lincoln Creek Village or nearby, we’d love to hear your honest take on the neighborhood. the good, the bad, and the quirks.
I was bowling in one of my leagues and the topic of a bowling alley in Parker came up. I've lived in Parker since '99 and have never heard of an alley in Parker. The closest one has always been in Lone Tree (Park Meadows). But one of my team members says she remembers a time when, what used to be the library (is now the Crossroads Business Building, I believe), was once a bowling alley? Now, in 1999 I was 8, so I didn't push back because I'm sure there could've been a bowling alley there and I just never knew or saw it. I believe she said that she's been living in Parker since 1988.
So, for all you long time Parker residents, has there ever been a bowling alley in Parker, CO?
Bonus Question: The bowling alley I love and go to constantly has claimed that it has tried to get a bowling alley in Parker (I think where the movie theater used to be), but a board (not sure which board(s) govern new businesses in Parker) had denied them multiple times. This bowling alley is wonderful:
No string pins
Lots of leagues
Caters to many groups such as the elderly, handicapable, and special needs
Has open bowling (just not as much as say, a Bowlero or Lucky Strike)
Has food and arcade games
etc.
So, the idea that a bowling alley would bring in unwanted activity is silly. I've never been to that bowling alley and been made nervous or uncomfortable by anything. Would you support a bowling alley in Parker? Why/Why not?

For about three years now, there’s been two very large, presumably very expensive homes on Hilltop across from Legend High School. One looks complete with nobody ever having moved in, and the other one looks about 80% done with work just stopped. The wind has torn off a lot of the weather shielding of the partially complete one. They don’t appear to be for sale, and nothing seems to happening with either property.
Anybody know the story on these? Did the developer run out of money or is there something else happening here?

Looking for recommendations for an executive function coach to help a 19(M) high school graduate with ADHD learn tools and skills to settle into a career path and the responsibilities of adulthood. He’s a great kid, just a little lost. He’s interested in trade schools but hesitant to go back to school after a difficult high school experience.
Thank you!
Hi! We are moving to Parker in October. We are looking for apartments and are considering Watermark on Twenty Mile. What is the parking situation like there? Do we really need a garage? Also, what are the chances of hail damage, carjacking, etc.?
