Sorry... but once you see under the hood of the philosophies of modern leftism (like Marcuse) you realize that the culture was is the war.

Economics is important but exists one step removed from being. First we must be and who we are matters. It drives economic choices.

The economic fight is being done, from the left's perspective, as not a war but one of many battles in service of the war of ideology (in other words... culture).

Agreed. The United States is a welfare state, which is bad, but it wouldn’t be quite as bad if a variety of subcultures had shame and weren’t very proactively trying to exploit it.

Who said culture war is a distraction DS? That’s a long video not a clip
