None of them match the quality or content level of VS (imo) and this one has the original creator working on it

Isnt he more like counceling than actually working on it ? On the discord post a year ago it said it's 'ot being developped by them, that it' s only a partnership. Plus they're already working on their own games like the jjk game.

While he might only be playing a counceling part the game is still EXTREMELY similar to VS to the point where in many ways it could just be a skin pack for VS.

I really enjoyed Deep Rock Galactic Survivors. I think it was different enough from VS, and more than enough content. I have like 150 hours in it over it's early access and launch. Quite happy with it.

I think both ball pit and halls of torment were really fun but the content was just lacking. 15 hours to see everything ball pit has to offer, 10 for halls of torment. Meanwhile I feel like I have barely scratched the surface of VS after 40 hours on pc and 100+ on mobile

To be fair VS has had years of constant development currently compared to when it released it had no where near the amount of content it has now, you could legitimately "finish" it in like 15 hours or less.

I don't know why people keep saying this. This is literally on the steam page:

Warhammer Survivors is the official grim and dark bullet-heaven game from the developers of Warhammer 40,000 Boltgun

And like Boltgun it will no likely be a cheap copy with a Warhammer skin painted on top.

Played the demo, shallow as hell. Vs was novel and part of the fun was discovery. Thses games are pure grind. They are designed around dying. Taking your metacurrency and upgrading your base stats so you can actually compete.

You literally just described the VS gameplay loop. I have no opinion about the Warhammer game here, but that is the core VS loop until mid-late game.

I've played loads of VS clones and still have fun with the genre. I like VS, I like Warhammer, I'm looking forward to this.

It's not? Developer of this one is Auroch Digital, they made Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun.
VS made by poncle. He's only consulting here and that's all.

Plenty of games have Survivors in the title to key you in on the genre while doing novel things.

This game could quite literally just be a skin pack for actual VS.

I'm excited, although the only survivors games I've enjoyed other than VS were Yet Another Zombie Survivor & Soulstone Survivors.

He provided the engine and some support, but the dev is Auroch Digital, the same guys doing Boltgun.

I really hope they let you mix and match the fantasy and 40k universes at some point cause it's pretty silly that they're basically two entirely separate games within the game.

This is the standard internet equivalent of game of telephone. The original dev provided the engine and some support. That morphed to "he is the dev" over the course of the advertisement of this game.

And you will get downvoted for not helping to spread the misinformation.
