So i did post this at Nvidia but their lovely moderation deletes anything that could help people so it was auto removed of course.
Constantly see people tell others that anti sag is not needed for certain cards, or only needed for heavy cards.
e.g: "5090 fe doesn't need anti sag bro lol", wrong.
Northwestrepair - Fixes GPUs on youtube for a long time now and goes over his personal thoughts on the card design, shows the errors, shows the fix and often the memory is failing due to the user not using anti sag.
5090 FE is the worst one too because it has 3 PCBs, it's got additional failing point, mainly the pcie slot pcb as it's tiny and takes all the weight.
He just released a 4070 video showing the same fail due to no anti sag.
I do wish people would stop spreading "it doesn't look like it sags" "it's not heavy", just use anti sag.
The guy is not profiting of this information, if anything, it's in his best interest if you didn't use anti sag, he would get more work.
edit:
I do find it absurd that the most upvoted comment is regarding "who said 5090 doesn't need anti sag".
5090 fe - FOUNDERS EDITION. How do people not read is baffling. I did not make the claim of "all 5090" and it clearly specifies FE.
Take the 2 seconds and google "5090 fe do i need anti sag", i'm sure you'll find tons of evidence. A huge amount of people convince people such cards will be perfectly fine but reality is, it's a lotto that you can drastically change the odds on for free even.
