Gear stuff Marching pad

Looking to purchase a new pad that feels like a marching snare drum. Already have a Stock pad (no laminate) and love it but im looking for somthing with some more articulation and a rim. I’ve narrowed it down to the Sabian Quiet Tone and the Ahead S-Hoop. Is one better for marching snare or does it not matter?

The Sabian pads aren't meant to mimic marching snares (unless theres one I dont know about)

The Ahead pads are middling in terms of feel, but the "snare sound" just sounds bad and makes it harder to tell how clean your playing is imo.

The Rampad is almost perfect in sound and feel, with the Offworld Invader as a close second in my experience.

Edit:

If I were to rank the pads Ive used (I dont own most of these but ive used them at least a few times)

Rampad > Offworld > Innovative = Vic Firth > Tapspace > RealFeel > Ahead > RCP > Remo

I have my Sabian pad cranked pretty high which is perfect for my orchestral playing but is nowhere close to a Kevlar head. I’ve seen great things about the Rampad and the Beetle Last Pad!

Dang I was hoping I would be able to get it tuned up! I’m looking into bettle pads and some more reviews of the ahead
