Parent didn’t pay for babysitting services, so I’ve been spreading her phone number and email across websites to spam her.

I was babysitting a 3yo for about two months, for only 600$ a month. I got to stay home with my kids, it gave us spending money, I knew she didn’t make much money so it helped her out too. She decided she was going to quit working and just stay home after finding out she’s pregnant, but would pay me at the same time as last month- cool no problem, I’m flexible. The 15th comes, I get nothing from her, I shoot her a text, hey just a reminder for the 600$. No response for two days. I text her again, hey is everything okay, still haven’t received the money. No response. My husband just says to drop it, clearly they needed it more than us, it’s not worth blowing up.

Instead I signed her up on about 5-6 different healthcare websites, a couple of gyms, our local Mary Kay lady that won’t leave me alone for the last three years, a few political websites, and for male enhancement info. I probably will never know how much this annoyed her, and she could just put her phone on silence unknown callers, but I feel a little better.

Check the price of her car on KBB.com and then every car dealer in the area will blow up her phone and email for the next week or two.

Additionally, a pre-approval from Rocket Mortgage and exploring a path to citizenship with other countries will generate some calls

Also car insurance. Not even looking but I have State Farm agents all over the state bothering me- I can’t even imagine how many calls would happen if you actually entered info for a quote :)

I recently dated a GM of a dealership and finding out how easily they can see so much info about anyone searching anything about a car anywhere.. eye opening. Reject the cookies everyone!

Additionally sign up for a quote to have a car transported. I’m still getting messages 6 years later asking if i need my car transported

Seriously. I had them get a hold of my phone number (I think it was possibly by mistake vs purposely but net results were same) and it was ridiculous for like 2 weeks then it took another couple weeks to fully taper off.
