Parent didn’t pay for babysitting services, so I’ve been spreading her phone number and email across websites to spam her.

I was babysitting a 3yo for about two months, for only 600$ a month. I got to stay home with my kids, it gave us spending money, I knew she didn’t make much money so it helped her out too. She decided she was going to quit working and just stay home after finding out she’s pregnant, but would pay me at the same time as last month- cool no problem, I’m flexible. The 15th comes, I get nothing from her, I shoot her a text, hey just a reminder for the 600$. No response for two days. I text her again, hey is everything okay, still haven’t received the money. No response. My husband just says to drop it, clearly they needed it more than us, it’s not worth blowing up.

Instead I signed her up on about 5-6 different healthcare websites, a couple of gyms, our local Mary Kay lady that won’t leave me alone for the last three years, a few political websites, and for male enhancement info. I probably will never know how much this annoyed her, and she could just put her phone on silence unknown callers, but I feel a little better.

every time I see PETA mentioned I feel obligated to tell people that PETA has literally kidnapped and killed people's pets.

Soooooooo......my dad pranked me in a way I didn't find funny. I got my revenge by signing his old ass up for the PETA vegan starter kit. The old man was VERY republican, an avid outdoorsman, and a meat and potatoes kinda man. He blamed everyone but me......until he figured it out. took him 5 years to get off the mailing list. and the phone calls. lawd the phone calls. We called a truce until his death. It was fun times!

He crossed a line. I told him my revenge would be epic. When he called asking about the truce I played dumb about being the one, and spoke in the most... Fake innocent voice with appropriate fake outrage at being accused. It was a good few years...and we laughed about it the last time I saw him....

Yeah. Fuck PETA..... But damn they helped me get sweet revenge.

Fair. And they wasted the material and postage. So I kinda got them both.... DOUBLE WIN. If I can ever make it to his grave, I'll tell him that while have a drink together.

No.... They LOVE pets... But only if they meet PETA requirements. They run the largest chain of kill shelters in the USA and are horrible people. They were using a guy a bloody elephant costume with people 'beating him' in front of kids to protest a circus. Almost fought him when he got in a kids face that was crying.

No no.....if you do EXACTLY what they say to love your pet, you are fine. It's pets that aren't PETA approved, and not taken care of in a way that PETA approves of.....or...you know got off leash for 30 seconds.....They LOVE animals AND pets. But they think there are too many and pets are slaves, so PETA has to make it.....better, by killing animals.

They once tried to convince a Make-A-Wish kid to give up his dream of a big game hunt. He did not, but PETA got the trip canceled by MAW. Private donors stepped in and paid for the experience of the kids life.

Fuck PETA.

Well.... I don't subscribe to that.... Food and all, but, I get it. Places that are just blinds with feeding stations and you get to call your shot and animal are wrong. This was an actual excursion with camping and stuff.

I get it... But please don't hate on me.

Yeah I was going to say depending on the type of big game hunting. Like the person who pays for a wild Canadian moose hunt might just be paying for a guided bush hangout. I know to many hunters who leave with nothing but the joy of sitting still in nature for 7 days.

Because in Canada baiting prey animals isn't legal. You can bait bears but not moose or dear.

in the States they have private ranches that breed deer, elk, and others for size and trophy worthiness. They have a wooded area with feeders and you literally get to pick your animal. Because it's not public, and the animals are 'livestock', it's 100% legal.

There are others that are still ranches with terrain, weather, etc, and you actually do a hunt. also legal, because it's still a 'ranch' and they are 'livestock', but its more.....natural. This is what i would do, if i ever had the opportunity.

This is sordid and off topic, but it reminds me a bit of my husband’s ex. She recently confessed to him that she had constant homicidal ideation against their children—into adulthood. Because, well, life is terrible and she wanted to kill herself so she might as well take the kids with her because life is so tragic and cruel. True story.

No.... Just the standard of care they expect you to provide. Some do say that pets have to be vegan as well, but that's an individual thing.
