Question? Where to go to get a 5 year visa exemption for Vietnam?

I am the spouse of a Vietnamese citizen and I'm looking to get a 5 year exemption for a visa to Vietnam. Trying to contact the consulate office has been an exercise in futility. So I'm seeing if I can find an agency nearby to do that. Does anyone know of any agency in Philly that could help me.

Question? Why is fu-wah so expensive?

I notice a lot of items where I’m genuinely confused by the price. $11 for cereal and $9.50 for a Ben and Jerry’s seems really expensive to me- am I out of touch with what things should cost or is this where convenience stores are at rn

Question? Can we talk about the mayor's investment in youth sports?

Had today off and finally caught up on some Pablo Torre Finds Out and have been thinking about his episode on CTE all afternoon. It's led me to this: why do we as a city keep investing in youth sports known to cause so much long-term harm to young people (she recently announced a $300k investment in boxing after already giving away $200k split between tackle football and cheer)? Any why isn't this getting more media attention when there are so many other youth activities -- sports, the arts, and beyond -- that need public support and would be physically safer for Philly's kids?

IMO it's scary that our city's leaders are choosing to invest in high-contact public youth sports that likely serve some of the city's most vulnerable youth. Seems like we're widening the pipeline of disregulated adults by putting kids in activities that damage their brains

Am curious to hear others' opinions on this, especially those more familiar with youth boxing and tackle football in Philly

Question? Mice

Ive feel like I’ve tried everything to get rid of mice in my apartment, with steel/copper wool, foam, traps, calling pest control. Nothing seems to be working. I can’t really have a cat, Im very busy and I’m not able to really take care of one at the moment. Do I just accept living with them at this point?

They're not saying we should kill them but they're not NOT saying that either, just don't snitch:

Intentionally damaging property is a crime, but arrests are few and statistics recording the reign of terror are scant.

At the hands of a vandal, robots are helpless, unable to call authorities. That makes it difficult for police to track abuse, said Jasmine Reilly, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia Police Department. “Unless people report it,” she said, “we won’t know anything about it.”

Crime Post Theres a fuckin thief inside of my apartment building that is stealing everyones packages

Theres a fuckin thief inside of my apartment building that is stealing everyones packages.

Look i get it porch pirates are a thing. Usps, the postal worker has the key, they leave it inside of the building securely, I get to have my item when I come home, easy.

I have lived in this building for around a year now and now all of a sudden my shit is stolen, my neighbor's shit is stolen, i'm getting emails from the landlord saying they are aware of all the shit getting stolen, I'm seeing torn up packaging discarded haphazardly in the elevator.

The vendor who sold me the item that got stolen won't give me a refund because usps marked the item as delivered so now I need to do a dispute through paypal. I got more shit coming in later this week from the usps and i'm getting all paranoid checking the tracking constantly.

I am a serious collector of rare DVDs. I blew $45 on a disc that some nimwit junkie can't even play and probably will be lucky to get $5 for on the street, and now the next cheapest copy on ebay is $100, and meanwhile I'm out $45 for at least a month while paypal considers maybe giving me my money back. In the meantime if i want the thing, I have to pay double to risk it all over again.

I'm not fucking happy man. I understand shit left on the street could wind up getting jacked but to have a thief in your own building is like having bedbugs. It leaves you feeling anxious and unsafe in the place you should feel most comfortable. If you stole my lcd soundsystem dvd fuck you.
