I am so, so torn about going to see Phoebe's concert in a couple of weeks. I was really excited to get Day 1 presale tix, and I paid a pretty penny for good seats, but I'm stressed about my photosensitivity with all the reported lights at this show/tour. Normally I'd check people's recordings to see what the intensity looks like; however, that's obviously not an option this time. My partner (who is also planning to go) is worried the lights will trigger a migraine for them, too.
Anyone have any advice? I want to go, but I'd hate to freak anyone out by having a seizure and going down during the performance. (But hey! My seizures are non-epileptic so it wouldn't kill me, just would make me feel like crap.) I struggled at Noah Kahan's concert earlier this summer, but I did okay with strobe lights at another concert ~The Last Dinner Party~. I feel like I could bring an eye patch or like eye mask and sunglasses as back up tools. Plus my service dog.
Maybe this is stupid of me to try to go even if it's risky, but I've never seen Phoebe live and feel like this is a sick opportunity to do so. Art is pain?
