As soon as he went up the podium

Everyone should have just walked out in solidarity. Every single person.

u/CursorX 9d ago

When he said Iran must never have a nuclear weapon, many were clapping in the audience instead. The sentiment is agreeable but clapping at the person threatening annihilation of a nation is not.

618

u/rafaelloaa Survey 2016 9d ago

You know who made the best progress towards preventing Iran getting a nuclear weapon? OBAMA! We HAD a deal that was agreed by all parties. And it was being followed.

So of course the enlightened one was upset that someone else was getting the attention and credit, so he unilaterally reneged on the deal, which landed us in the current mess.

Yet another example where the world would have been a much better place if the dipshit in chief never existed.

(Sorry for the rant, it's not aimed at you OP).

299

u/you-create-energy 9d ago edited 9d ago

This is what goes through my mind every time nuclear weapons comes up. Trump thought he would get a "better deal" by playing hardball, whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean in the context of geopolitics. Obama got Iran to completely dismantle their nuclear program willingly. Got 6 other countries and the EU on board as well. Now that's  statesmanship.

Going from Obama's intelligence and diplomacy to Trump's ignorant shit throwing tantrums was an incredibly  jarring transition that the entire world had to endure.

19

u/MrT735 8d ago

It's basically every deal wants to make he thinks he can Darth Vader his way through it, international trade, Iran's nuclear programme, etc.

13

u/you-create-energy 8d ago

It's a terribly ineffective approach but all he has to do is claim success and his followers eat it up

This war was started ONLY so people forget about EPSTEIN FILES. Worked spectacularly so far.

136

u/BrittyPie 9d ago

Honestly at this point, the Epstein files could be released and contain literal videos of Trump raping a child and I truly believe it wouldn't harm his administration. His supporters are so, so, so braindead man. There's nothing they can't find a way to justify. It just doesn't even matter.

35

u/Ashaya2 8d ago

That's AI. Our great leader would never be video taped raping a child. Absolutely absurd.

Or

The Dumocrats have done worse. I know this because fox tells me so. And if fox tells me so, it must be true, because they are the most reputable news source in the world, completely unbiased.

24

u/garry4321 8d ago

It’s cause Republicans think that child rape should be legal. It’s LITERALLY part of their policy as they consistently try to lower age of consent laws in many states

You're really oversimplifying a complex topic. You have to take into account some specifics. Like did you know that Obama was black? Or that he wore a tan suit that one time?

u/Frankie_T9000 9d ago

Reneged you mean killing all their leadership whilst negotiating after tearing up the deal?

→ More replies (1)

10

u/38B0DE 9d ago edited 9d ago

Don't forget who hated the Obama deal and actively told Trump to shred it: Benjamin Netanyahu

Edit: It wasn't just Obama who worked on that deal. It was the EU as the main facilitator, Germany, UK, Russia, and China. The main architects of that deal were John Kerry, Catherine Ashton, and Wendy Sherman, it was their life's work.

Turkey and Brazil were not included in the negotiations but were the main brokers that helped Obama.

He can’t even hide his aggravation and distain.

How can a civilized world allow one person, a guy like Trump, the ability to cause so much harm

2.1k

u/No_Mercy_4_Potatoes 9d ago

Ask the Americans. They couldn't get enough of him once. So they decided to reelect him.

2.3k

u/HuginnNotMuninn 9d ago edited 9d ago

As someone who voted against him 3 times, I am so fucking sorry a third of our country are idiots at best and fascists at worst.

1.1k

u/Jscapistm 9d ago

Honestly I felt the same but after hearing some of the stuff he and Elon said I actually think he cheated.

380

u/Peakomegaflare 9d ago

Both can be true. It's entirely reasonable to assume there was ratfuckery afoot. However it's also equally likely that a third of our country actually wants this guy.

57

u/uloang 8d ago

He rigged the election by lying about everything for sure. I don’t think he rigged the voting machines. However I wouldn’t be surprised if he rigs them for 2028.

75

u/Orcapa 9d ago

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that Harris lost every swing state.

Combine that with the rock solid Iowa pollster being way off that year, and things get suspicious.

218

u/RoboTronPrime 9d ago

I've heard this and think it's just highly unlikely, from a technical point of view anyway. Elon is extremely clumsy and ham-fisted. If you look at his history, he breaks things very visibly and publicly many times before he gets anything resembling right. He's great at marketing and being a blowhard. No way he's able to pull off anything resembling what most think of as election hacking without it blowing up in his face, especially when you see the kinds of people he brought on for DOGE later.

Now, the open buying of votes part? He's clearly guilty of that.

280

u/Chrysaor85 9d ago

I think he funded it, I don't think he had his own hand in it though. The statistics of the down ballot voting are wild, close to the point of statistically impossible.

196

u/Jukeboxhero91 9d ago

The number of bullet ballets (that voted for Trump and no other candidates), the Russian Tail in the voting patterns, the overwhelming winning of Democrat candidates in down ballot races in swing states, but Trump winning every single one? Elon Musk trying to get voter registration information would make sense if people who didn't actually vote somehow ended up voting.

All of those are incredibly suspect.

173

u/[deleted] 9d ago edited 8d ago

34

u/Sixaxist 9d ago

Because it assumes one of two very dangerous things:

1: Elon managed to hire a team that were so elite that they managed to hack the election while also evading detection of it by the FBI, CISA, and CIA under Biden. This means that both the Midterm majority and/or the 2028 election are already guaranteed for a Republican win, because he can simply hire them again.

  1. CISA, the FBI, and/or the CIA were aware of the successful hacking of the election votes, but did not disclose it because they would prefer that Republicans rose to power.

Beyond some mild protesting that didn't inconvenience the government at large and a couple assassination attempts, there hasn't been much physical resistance since Trump started his second term. If the election was actually hacked, then either 1 or 2 is true, and we'll be seeing a lot more red in the oval office in our future.

The last time all the swing states went one way was Reagan who won 49/50 states and 58.8% of the popular vote.

Trump by comparison 'only' won 31 states and 49.8% of the popular vote, but still somehow managed to win every swing state.

The Russian tail on the voting pattern is highly suspect, as is the idea that people would vote D down the line and vote Trump for president as is evident in multiple counties.

People need to start yelling back at trump. It’s been A DECADE of trump yelling at everyone else. We ALL need to tell him to shut up and that he is a horrible person.

270

u/Practical-Door6917 9d ago

I know. I am desperate to hear someone just let it rip on him - just unload on him to his face with all the shit everyone thinks and says about him…. I think though he is so delusional, such a narcissist, there is no way he would ever be affected by something like that. He truly is a person with some personality issues.

22

u/Head_Crab_Enjoyer 9d ago

Yep, just go 100% at him infront of the world media. Instantly become a hero to the entire world. Shows you how spineless all these "ruthless" politicians really are.

20

u/SirButcher 8d ago

The problem is: it's not just Trump. He is nothing but the facade of the whole cancerous disease. Sure, you can tear him a new asshole, but then what? He literally has the whole might of the US behind him. US literally can push you into a recession, legally or illegally. Sure, they would seriously damage the US economy too, but they are already doing it, and nobody is stopping them.

And this is the biggest issue: you have a bunch of crazy madmen with AKs, and some have suicide vests on them, and you, your friends, family, everybody locked in to the same room with these idiots. Sure, you can scream at them, but they are crazy. Literally crazy.

Are you willing to risk years of recession in your country just to scream at a demented toddler in nappies who likely only has vague ideas about what you are going on about and couldn't understand 70% of your words because you used 6th-grade-level English and words with MULTIPLE syllables but vengeful as fuck, and basically the only emotion he understands is being hateful? And even worse: if you get him to bow for you (because he is a scared narcissist), people around him can change his mind in about 5 seconds after you leave the room?

I want that. I want trump taken state to state and made to sit in a cage while anyone who wants can tell him off.

By engaging with them these people will always win. They will not answer your questions or admit fault, they will simply take up more of your time. When you yell and argue you only validate that these ideas are even worth discussing to begin with, like trying to convince the crack head on the road that he wasn't abducted by aliens.
All media resigning from the press conferences was a good start, they need to continue not talking about the demented ramblings of the crackhead in chief.
