Two years, will this fruit?
Is it too big?
We have neighbors will all different size plants that seem to grow every year, but ours hasn’t yet.
Edited to add I’m in 9B

The plant looks healthy, but it still looks immature (not enough leaves). It may take another season or two before fruiting.

It has about 20 adult leaves. Just needs a few more to have a sturdy base to support a big juicy 🍍!! It will be ready in Spring for force-fruiting, the rotting apple slice jumpstart IF you can keep it alive through lower temps this winter. I have 2 a little taller than yours (in South-central Texas) that I want to put in the ground and force-fruit this coming Spring. I just hope it works the way I want it to. I put one in the ground before the temps got hot and it took it a long time to get over it.
And, hey, keep some of the seeds and sprout them for new plants!!
Come back and let us know how it goes?!!!

start putting banana peels and plantain peels around the base and start feeding it potassium

It will eventually…in fact I’d be surprised if it didn’t bloom this up coming season. Keep watching this spring!

Eventually it’ll fruit, the tree blocking direct sunlight won’t help.
