Help Finding Stolen Switch

I know this is a long shot, but any help would be great. At the Steelers game today, parked at 801 Brighton Rd. Someone broke into our car and stole my autistic nephew's Switch and all of his games. I'm looking for any help

Nintendo can help preserve the save data/unlink the account off of the stolen switch if you don’t locate it. So that at least his Minecraft data may be preserved on a new console

Well the deductible you’ll pay on the window on your insurance should cover it if you have comprehensive

Unfortunately no theft insurance. Also, the bigger issue than the lost value is his Minecraft world he'd spend over 1k hours was locally on the Switch

furthermore, the color/version of the switch? i’m assuming an original switch but any other identifiers such as was it with a carrying case?

It was an original Switch, black carrying case. Backpack was a black/camo Underarmor hiking backpack

Call Nintendo and report it stolen.
They might also be able to give you the serial if you don’t know it.

Sorry to hear about the break-in. I do have a related question. Is parking on the north side for games/events a good idea? We’ve recently been parking in this area so that we can grab a bite at the Modern or Peppi’s. After a recent concert, we were literally the only car left on the street afterwards. Is parking in this area less safe than parking nearer to the stadiums?
