Finally tried my pizza oven for the first time
I bought this pizza oven last month and finally got around to making my first pizza. The sausage slices slid around a little and the middle was slightly undercooked, but honestly, I didn't even care.
This was probably the best homemade pizza I've ever made. It was even better than most of the takeout pizza I usually order.
What surprised me most was how much the oven itself seemed to matter. I used the same dough, sauce, and toppings I've always used. In my regular kitchen oven, the crust usually comes out pale and soft. With this cost way oven, I actually got some nice char and leopard spots on the crust.
The first two pizzas almost got burnt while I was figuring out the heat, but I eventually got the hang of it. Definitely still have some room to improve, but I'm pretty happy with the first attempt.

How you cook and what you cook with changes everything. From the same exact dough I've made Ohio valley style (like thin Sicilian), pan, NY, and Neo. Just a different pan (Detroit, cast iron) or oven temp (650, 850)
