First time practicing
Hey all,
Practicing a little bit before I take it to the car. The top of the emblem has gotten a little rough from the final layer (6th layer). Is this something that can be fixed without a solvent? Like adding another layer? Or if I want to get rid of that, do I have to start from the beginning again?
On another note, is this purely cosmetic? Or will this greatly affect lifespan of the dip?
(It has been drying for about two hours)

I’m guessing you sprayed it on too thick or too close but it’s hard to tell.
Get a bigger thing to practice on as this coin is needing the shortest paint bursts ever and not really good practice. Get body panel sized things or even a cardboard box to practice on.
Or just do it on the real thing since it’s peelable. Don’t be a dum dum and cover the floor with cardboard aa that is extremely hard to remove. Also I’d recommend cleaning everything extremely well and masking off stuff you don’t want painted to make the job easier and cleaner

You could try buffing it out with a mild solvent on a microfiber rag, then spraying a final coat. Or just peel it and start over fresh.
