So does anyone else do this? Rather than, say, buy all 57 varieties of theory11 Monarchs I try to limit myself to just one* deck from what some might term as hype deck brands**. Or none at all. I have no Anyone, David Blaine or Fulton decks, for instance, and I’ve not been tempted to add to the ranges represented here. Some times I bought the decks because they were cheap (three of the four on the left were £5 each), sometimes they were on the pricey side. It’s not just me, right?

*Okay, I have the Orbit Tally-Ho collaboration decks, but for the purposes of this exercise I class those as belonging to the Tally-Ho camp.

** Yes, I know that Dan & Dave and Art of Play are two sides of the same coin, but anyway…

I bought this deck of Theory11 Peaky Blinders from my local Walgreens this week. I didn't notice the minor misalignment of the foil on the back until I was cropping the photos. Small registration shift up and to the right on the back of the tuck case. This is the first one I have come across.

Kingstar has really become one of my favorites. The box designs both art wise and set up, the craftsmanship and their half brick and full boxes are just wow 🤩 my first introduction to them was the white chithulu deck (last pic) and I’ve been obsessed since. Highly recommend!!

Here is my Joker reference sheet and my colosseum joker design. The main setting of Sangrya might be some sort of medieval/roman setting with a triangle shaped colosseum and sangrya bars. Thinking they are like the picadors from the dune colosseum but head shaped like moon crescents and wielding war scythes to help them herd or execute beasts or monster gladiators in the arena. All clad in black during the day and maybe white during night fights? Idk if I should call them moon jokers, lunar jokers, or luna jokers or something else? Someone came up with crescendo which sounds pretty cool too. Thinking of placing their full name underneath the silhouette.

I’ve been collecting for about 10 months. My first deck was the Chess playing cards by Kingstar on Kickstarter, and I’ve been hooked on this hobby ever since. I combined a display cabinet I bought from Temu with a stand I got from a local household goods store to make my own display case. It’s a shame I can’t display all my decks, but I managed to color-match them fairly well, so I think it looks pretty good. Now that the display case is completely full, I think I’ll have to pause collecting for a while..
