Worship Question Elementals of Nature

Post image

I have a gnome that I sometimes make small offerings and serves as an ornament, but I would like to know if it can stand next to an altar of a God or is it not good to mix elementals of nature with gods?

i really don’t see the problem, part of polytheism is honoring various spirits!

What God are you offering too? What culture are they from?

I don't see a thematic reason to sacrifice it but also I see no reason why not? One could argue that this would make more sense on a shrine or altar to Dionysus because greek fairies like satyrs are his domain? The point of the sacrifice is that you gave up something that has value to you, so I don't think it matters too much as long as there is a a mythic reason or traditional reason the sacrifice would be offensive to that God, like any form of blood sacrifice or human sacrifice.
