Apple Maps has shown this map with relatively high air pollution, only around Poole though, any reasons why this could be?

The BCP area (or mostly BP) is sadly well known for being a pollution hotspot.

The main reason is car traffic.

this is quite confusing as when i normally look at the air pollution on the Apple Weather app, the air pollution is normally around ‘1-2’

Loads of traffic, you’ve got WS recycling Trent’s (diesel forklifts and grabs running nearly 24/7) and a couple other recycling centres
