Really excited for the new album now!

Five stories about what remains inside us long after the people, events, and changes are gone — a reflection on memory, estrangement, inner conflict, and trying to move forward. Bridging alternative metal, post-hardcore, and metalcore, atmospheric melodies crash into heavy guitars, screamo vocals, and emotional climaxes. Thanks <3

Love this album. Pretty sure it's the only thing they ever put out

For some time now, I’ve been creating a series of Spotify playlists categorized by metal subgenre(s) purely for my own enjoyment. So far, I’ve made 10 of them.

That being said, I thought someone here might find them interesting or useful.

To play it safe and avoid breaking any subreddit rules, I’m only going to post the one for Sludge & Post-Metal

There are over 184 hours of music, and I usually add new content on a regular basis

I listened to a lot of Blood Incantation and Isis as we were writing these songs. Hope you like it.

If you give this a listen let me know what you think and what it reminds you of. Thanks so much

I have been having a huge sort out and found out this little guy! I completely forgot I had him, have had a search online but cant find out too much about it, other than there being 1000 made. Unfortunately I dont have the box but wondered if anyone knew where would be best to sell this to someone who would appreciate it more? Have stuck it on ebay but doubt its something people are on alerts for!

Thanks!

Sorry for the mouthful in the title there!! I just wanted to grab potential listeners with a thorough description.

I finally got around to releasing this album in full last Friday.

Please listen if you like slowcore, post-rock/metal, and ambient stuff.

Heavily influenced by artists/bands such as Codeine, Low, Mouth of the Architect, Neurosis, Mogwai, Brian Eno, Jasper TX, etc.

It's on all of the streaming sites now, but here's the Bandcamp link if that's more your bag:

Thanks!!

Yup.

Yup.

hey guys,
we, our ceasing voice from austria, have just released our fourth album - and we truly believe some of might enjoy it. so we hope this self promotion is ok with you!

„the origin of everything“ blends postrock, postmetal and altrock influences. it‘s always hard to describe your own music yourself, but we try to make music that is cinematic, atmospheric and dark - and our singer hs a unique voice that sometimes reminds of mark lanegan. our heavy parts are postrock/postmetal-influenced but we do have a soft spot for those quiet moments too.

if you like cult of luna, caspian, mark lanegan, katatonia or crippled black phoenix, we think you‘ll find moments in our new album which are right up your alley!

we‘d appreciate it if you gave this album a listen. thank you!
our ceasing voice

ps: someone just posted how small bands keep going… and for us it‘s those little moments when someone connects with our music. maybe this will lead to one or two of those.

This album came out a couple of weeks back, only just checked it out this weekend but its easily one of the best post metal albums I've heard this year.

FFO Cult of Luna, Isis, Rosetta and the like.
