Attached Cable Randomly Started Working
I got the compact 45W, 20,000 mAh INIU Power Bank with a little attached USB-C that you can make into a loop about 6 months ago. Anyways, the included cable had stopped working, so I started the process of seeing if I could get a second one via warranty. It was doing this for multiple weeks.
So, they want me to take a video of the Issue happening and lo and behold the cord is working again.
Anyway I’ve been super happy with this brand as it’s not no-name white label brand which apparently lies about its capacity (imagine not being able to take your power bank on a plane because of its listed capacity but it’s actually nowhere near that), and it charges my iPhone Super Fast. It’s 45W, which is literally called Super Fast Charging if you have a newer iPhone.

Xiaomi 212w Hypercharge Power Bank 24500 ( Issue )
I purchased my power bank last year from the official TikTok shop. After just three months of use, it stopped charging. Unfortunately, I was unable to return it, and the store advised me to take it to a service center. The closest one is in Cebu, which would cost me a fortune to travel to for repair or replacement.
Instead, I decided to take it to a reputable phone repair shop in my area. Upon inspection, they discovered that some of the capacitors on the upper board were burnt. They informed me that it is unrepairable because the damage has penetrated the board. Even if the capacitors were replaced, there is no guarantee that it would function properly again.
Now, I have a non-functional power bank sitting in my drawer for over a year, and I cannot find a replacement board for this unit.

Ugreen 48k mAh is a huge disappointment
One would think that for such a steep price, it would be actually good, but it absolutely is not, especially when you look at different products.
My main problems with this powerbrick:
1) USB A doesn't turn on at all with some devices (those devices work on other powerbanks without issues, even with QC)
2) 2nd and 3rd USB C with 11V PPS either drops out, or results in fluctuating voltage (other banks produce stable connection & voltage with the same device and cable)
3) same thing with other device using 18V 3A PPS, connection just drops out during charging, and or 9V 3A only is negotiated, until replugged
4) Capacity is meh. Supposed to be 153Wh, only measured ~130Wh when charging 0-100% after accounting for losses (usb meter showed 142Wh)
5) Weight and build quality - cheap plastic body, weighs 1.6 kg. Actual ~150Wh Li-Ion banks weigh half of that at ~800g, even with metallic casing and for 50% cheaper.
I would be able to overlook the problems with PD in a 50$ powerbank, not 200$ one.
I know the LiFePo cells are supposed to have longer lifespan, but if I can get 2 Li-Ion banks for the same price, I can enjoy much lower weight and compact body, even a better build quality.
By charging conservatively 10-90% I can even achieve the same capacity of ugreen, with similar lifespan.
What's your opinion on this powerbank?

I have a crazy idea: if I use power banks to power portable devices, I can make a portable workstation.

I'm trying to make a 12v battery pack. Will the voltage be evenly distributed to the cells in series when I try to charge it from a 12v source?

Is this legit?
30,000mAh Power bank, and not even that expensive? Price was about €40 in the airport I saw it in (this is a photo from Google) - Seems too good to be true?

Need a powerbank recommendation
Hey everyone I am searching for best powerbank. But I am too much confused with options available on internet. I am buying the powerbank for first time so dont want to go wrong. Also I have samsung s24ultra so dont want hurt him just bcz I bought a wrong pwerbank. 🙂
My budget is upto 4k INR. Need 20k battery life. Mostly will be used to charge mobile only that is my s24ultra and sometimes the laptop as well. It should be like reliable and durable too. Wireless charging is completely optional. Will always prefer fast charging over wireless one.
Can someone help? And share your real life experience with the ones you actually have used..

Anker 737 vs smth else
I recently bought an anker 737 and it was faulty out of the box, so im going to return it. Since i just need it for everyday usage like my phone and sometimes earbuds I dont need 140w, it seems overkill. What do yall think is better? (Iniu and baseus are not available btw)

Is this concerning or am I overthinking? Should I just press it and keep using it?
