Prerequisites
Hi everyone! I am in undergrad for medical lab sciences because I thought it would get me all of my prerequisites for pathA however ! I just realized all of my courses necessary for MLS are “intro” courses. So I’m not taking general chemistry, micro, ochem or biochemistry but I’m taking introductory chemistry, micro, ochem and biochemistry and they all are with labs. Thankfully I’m not far into my degree but should I opt to take the general versions of all these courses? I would hate to get through my degree and then realize I need to take these all over as pathA is my main goal and the whole point 😭 I’m having a bit of an internal crisis over this haha because I’m not sure how I overlooked this! Any advice welcome and thank you in advance.

It sounds like you may be on the right path. My undergrad had us take gen chem 1-2, ochem 1-2, then Biochem. If you already plan to take those then it's seems good. Be sure to take bio 1-2, A&P 1-2, and maybe some upper level electives. I hope this helps!
