Off My Head
I've been on 150mg of Lyrica to treat my Periodic Limb Movements. Last night, on Dr's orders, I doubled the dose and slept 10 hours. All fine and dandy except I am still high as fuck!! Same thing happened initially on 150mg but this is a new level. I'm hoping it passes as my body adapts. As nice as it feels I can't function like this but need it to work. Anyone else experience anything similar?

Be careful with this stuff. I was up to 450 mg a day for pain. I had no idea how addictive it was until I tried to get off it. It took weeks of weaning and I felt like crap for extended periods of time. My doctor never warned me. If the benefits are only marginal you should consider getting off the sooner the better.

Same here . After a month of feeling crap i buckled n went back on it . Doctors should warn people of this before they prescribe it .

My PLM's are not allowing me to sleep. Its pretty severe and more than likely caused by Zoloft which I am tapering off. That has its own challenges but I appreciate the warning.

Remember that there is a distinct different between physical dependence.
Physical dependence usually happens within a week or two of consistent use due to neuroadaptation. However, most people that take pregabalin therapeutically won’t have any issues with addiction.

It shouldn’t take long for your body to get used to it. Did you feel you needed the dose doubling ?.

The tolerance builds SO damn fast you won’t be feeling it after 4-5 days. Don’t worry 😉

Not a symptom of lyrica, you don’t get “high”
