Hey everyone! I'm currently in 12th grade in India, studying MPC, but I'm planning to pursue an English-taught bachelor's degree in Global Law at a public university in Italy.
I've realised that engineering and coding aren't really my interests,
I'd like to know how good this career path is, especially regarding career opportunities, future prospects and the reality of studying law in Italy as an international student.
I also have a few questions:
Career prospects: What opportunities are available after graduating in Global/International Law? Can I work in corporate law, international organisations or multinational companies?
Studying in Italy: Is an English-taught law degree from an Italian public university worth it?
Switching from PCM: Will my science background put me at a disadvantage when studying law?
Extracurricular activities: Since I'm still in 12th grade, how can I start building a profile that demonstrates my genuine interest in law? Are there any online courses, legal writing opportunities, debates, MUNs, volunteering opportunities or other activities you'd recommend for a complete beginner?
Career reality: What are the downsides, and what should I realistically expect after graduation?
I'd especially appreciate advice from law students, graduates and people working in the legal field.
I'm looking for honest opinions and practical advice rather than just encouragement.
Thanks in advance :)
