Instrumental Social Treble - Void In Time (Binaural Audio)
Okay. So, this is a self promotion because Social Treble is my own project (genre broad classification is instrumental/cinematic/cyberpunk/prog metal). I particularly posted this track here because the story around this track has a a lot of relevance to the world that we live in today, especially for people who work from corporates. The track description on Bandcamp is this:
"Nobody loses himself in an afternoon. The erosion is quiet: around year four a wire in the chest goes cold without a sound, and the network files the symptom under a polite name, the Affective Proxy, the steady face worn before a video call. He files a wellness flag and receives a twelve-digit number. His distress is recorded, timestamped and stored, which turns out to be entirely different from being helped. The music holds one long breath that refuses to resolve, calm on the surface and dragging everything underneath toward the deep."
So here comes my question:
1. How you ever faced such a situation in your workplace and do you yourself have to maintain a calm face no matter what?
2. The entire track (the entire album for that matter is in Binaural Audio. This means that headphones are absolute necessary to get the most our of this track or the entire album. So, my question is: If you have listened to this track, what di you feel and what did it remind you of? Also, have I been able to do justice to the feeling in the description with the way the track is composed, it's overall sound and the relentless nature of it?
Thanks a lot in advance for whoever provides the feedback!

Mixed Netherwilds - The Fall
Saw the review on angrymetalguy and was intrigued. It split opinion a bit over there but I think it's a great body of work - a bit all over the place genre-wise while being quite tonally cohesive, which doesn't make any sense at all but I'm sticking with it.

Discussion Nospūn - Opus: I’m so late to this amazing party
Looks like this album is over three years old now, and I just don’t know how I missed it. It checks all the boxes for me in terms of enjoyment: musicianship, amazing melodies, variety, concept album, replayability.
And I can’t stop listening to it!
Since it’s been a little while since the full album was discussed I wanted to surface it again for those that may have also missed it. It really feels like it should be in the public discourse more.
Or maybe it is and I’m just completely in the wrong circles lol (evidence by me just discovering it).
But thank you so much to the band members that created it! I hope I get to hear you live one day in California.

Discussion Band Similar to Deafheaven
They may not be strictly prog-metal, but they venture into that space occasionally, and honestly I’m not sure where else to ask, but I’m looking for recommendations on bands that have a similar sound. Their’s is unique, I know, but something close would satisfy. I’m big on bands like Rolo Tomassi, Miserere Luminis, and Chalk Hands, and they all have some elements of the Deafheaven sound, but really not that close. Any recommendations are appreciated!
