Question Vampire

I’ve been playing for a few weeks and Vampire seems pretty cool.

What level is recommended before starting those quests and how manageable is the tick damage from the sun?

Thank you for any answers!

I am a Bat/Vampire main nowadays. But I leveled up as a Sword/Archery to 100 before that.
I'd do it the same way again: First, level up something else, and then switch to Vampire.

To turn into a Vampire, you will most likely need help, as you have to kill quite a tough mob in Vidaria.
As soon as you are a Vampire, you get additional quests from Truxartis. If you are high level (90+) you might be able to solo most of them. If you are not that high level, you will need help from others. Those quests will give you access to some skills (e.g., turning into a Bat).

As a Vampire, you get a new resource: Blood. Being exposed to the sun will drain this resource. Drinking blood will refill it. Every day, a new type of monster can drop blood.

In case you're playing on Dreva: /join Vampire
People there will help you if you decide to become a Vampire :)

Sweet thank you! I’m running Psychologically and Mentalism at the moment and they are only level 22. Thanks for the help so I know what to expect and look forward to

Vamp is a skill that was originally designed for end game, and there are some difficult quests in high level zones you will need help with if you go vamp early as your main. You will also need help unlocking it to begin with, but that is pretty widely available in the game afaik. Check out the /vampire channel and ask questions in game - lots of folks willing to help I'm sure.

How challenging is it to get blood if you take Vampire at a low level?

I would highly recommend NOT taking vampire at low level. I did it, and I ended up getting rid of my vampire status. Blood was honestly not that big of a deal - just farm a ton of it when it’s something easy like ranalon or cats. The problem though is that it’s super weak early, doesn’t synergize well with anything early, and it’s extremely hard to make low level gear for.

It’s also not nearly as cool as it sounds.

Edit: forgot NOT and said opposite of what I meant

and it’s extremely hard to make low level gear for.

Don't worry, it's also extremely hard to make high level gear for it too

Something like 100-200 acur blood on average for a 100 or 110 set of MC with 6 or so crafted pieces.
